New content for Learning Hub

Learning hub update tunnel boring machine

New content has been added to the ICE Learning Hub.

It covers sustainable materials, tunnelling, soil reinforcement and electricity generation.

The Learning Hub was launched in November 2018.

It provides a wide range of online modules and resources free and exclusively to ICE members to support their continuing professional development.

Initial feedback has been positive, particularly from non-UK members who can now access an easy-to-use distance learning tool.

The latest learning programmes have been selected to reflect recent events and developments.

Following European Week for Waste Reduction in November 2018, the hub has been updated to include the new “little book of low carbon eating in the city” and “sustainable materials” programmes will help engineers consider their role in cutting waste.

The ICE has said it welcomes feedback, including requests for subjects to be covered in future Learning Hub updates. Send feedback to
