ICE revamps mentor matching scheme

The ICE has relaunched its mentor matching scheme with a new online service, which helps members find initial professional development or career development support.

The redesigned online platform now features improved matching tools.

These include refined search criteria, which allow members to easily find suitable matches based on region, industry sector, areas of knowledge and expertise, and soft skills.

Other improvements include tutorial videos, progress-tracking tools, and communications tools, including email updates and appointment-scheduling.

The free service is open to members wanting to register as mentors, for mentoring or both. Unqualified members can find a mentor with suitable experience for support with Initial Professional Development. The scheme is particularly useful for members who work in small and medium sized organisations with limited access to other members experienced in the professional qualification process.
