ICE approve Associate Member regs

ICE HQ

ICE Council has approved changes that will make the Associate Member (AMICE) grade accessible to a wider group of built environment professionals.

The change will enable the ICE’s membership and knowledge base to better reflect the professional civil engineering community. The AMICE grade has attracted only a handful of allied professionals since it was redefined in 2006. Council has agreed the revisions to the Royal Charter, by-laws and admission regulations that will go through a member ballot and Privy Council in 2016.
