ICE is calling for volunteers or nominations to stand for Council. Nine vacancies are available, including five general members, three regional members and one graduate member.
Council meets five times a year at ICE’s headquarters in Westminster, and is responsible for directing the affairs of the Institution and ensuring that it is properly managed and successful in delivering its objectives.
ICE deputy director general Hugh Ferguson said: "Council members are drawn from all grades, from Graduate to Fellow, and from all around the world and do an essential job on behalf of the membership in ensuring ICE stays on track to meet its strategic objectives."
All candidates require five sponsors and nominations must be submitted by 31 March to ICE’s Council Office. Forms can be downloaded from ICE’s website or obtained directly from the office.
