Water expert Chris Binnie is repeating his popular ICE Water Millennium lecture, this time with the emphasis on plumbing, for the Worshipful Company of Plumbers and Worshipful Company of Water Conservators. Binnie dresses in the style of the day to look at the social impact of water supply from Victorian times to 2050. Attendance at the talk costs £7 and the event takes place at the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Savoy Place, London WC2 on 31 January 2002 at 5pm. Dinner is optional (£34 charge).
