lThe story of the transformation of Cardiff Bay from unsightly muddy estuary into a fresh-water lake appears in a special issue (vol 154, no 2) of the ICE/IAHR Water & Maritime Engineering journal.

Handed over to Cardiff City Council in April 2001, the £220M project has already attracted £1bn in private sector investment.
