ICE News: Engineering Management Partnership

ICE members claimed four prizes at the Engineering Management Partnership (EMP) Management Awards last week.

The trawl included the prestigious Braybrooke Award for the best overall performance on the EMP management programme, awarded to Andrew North, alternative service delivery manager at Earth Tech. Other prize winners were Westinghouse Signals senior planning manager Iain Cameron, (Halcrow prize for business environment), Babtie Group principal engineer Mark Cottingham (Jaguar Cars prize for project management), and Carillion Infrastructure senior manager Tracy Kidd (M4I prize for construction management). EMP is a consortium of UK universities and professional institutions providing management development and education for scientists, engineers and technologists.
