ICE launches membership CD

BENEFITS OF ICE membership are explained in a long anticipated CD-Rom released last week by the Institution.

A Benefits of Membership CD was first proposed by the ICE's last communications director Alan Smith in November 2000 (NCE 23 November).

It contains material to help members find out easily what the ICE has to offer.

It also provides an editable set of Power Point slides that will enable members to present information on the ICE to an audience.

The CD is being distributed to all active members of the ICE via Council members, the local associations and local association development officers, regional liaison officers, executive secretaries and the graduates and students national committee.

Smith identified the CD as one of a number of initiatives that would help deliver the ICE's integrated communication plan, the focus of which is raising the ICE's profile with members and the wider public.

Benefits of Membership is the last of the ICE's trio of CDs. Edifice, the interactive CD for schools and its accompanying presentation CD were released earlier this year.
