ICE in action

ICE in partnership with the Landscape Institute is developing a guide for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency on the management of rivers in built up areas. The guide follows the report published by the two institutions last year: Liquid assets - making the most of urban watercourses.

AME has produced new briefing sheets on: draft planning policy guidance 12; the costs of an ageing society; the AA's recent report on highway design.

The Society for Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics (SECED) has arranged the seventh Mallett-Milne lecture to be held at ICE from 5.30pm on Thursday 27 May.

ICE held a briefing meeting for 36 MPs and Peers from the South East on 24 February, Northern Counties on 3 March and Midlands on 10 March. Ten MPs attended the ICE-hosted all party parliamentary group on the built environment on 2 March.
