Entries for this year's ICE Civil Engineering Manager of the Year Award should be submitted by 7 July. Competition is especially tough this year so only truly outstanding managers should apply.
Senior members of staff from civil engineering firms are encouraged to identify and put forward their best candidates working on projects completed between 1 June 1999 and 31 May 2000.
Each entrant must submit a 1,500 word synopsis of their achievements, backed by their employer, including drawings and photographs as appropriate. Finalists will be invited to make presentations to the judging panel on 10 October followed by a second presentation to an open audience at Great George Street.
The award is backed by the Institute of Management, John Laing Construction and NCE. For an entry form contact the ICE on (020) 7665 2216 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
