Hyder buys Australian energy consultant

Consultant Hyder has bought Australian firm BCH Engineering in a bid to expand its operations the energy and mining sectors.

Western Australia-based BCH Engineering is Hyder’s second acquisition in 12 months. The company has expertise in oil, gas, mining, and resources.

BCH Engineering will now be known as BCH Hyder and directors from the company will take key roles in Hyder consulting.

Hyder’s Australasian Managing Director Greg Steele said: “BCH’s client focus and commitment to excellence is perfecty aligned with Hyder so the collaboration between our teams will ensure we’re a very strong player in the market. This acquisition and established client base will increase momentum for our progression into the west.”
