Hyder boasts increased order book of £350M

Hyder Consulting has revealed that it expects to announce an order book of £350M in results for the year ending 31 March.

The results will be announced on 13 June. But in a trading statement, the firm said it expects to report an increase in orders on 2011, when its order book stood at £312M.

Recent contract awards include a large infrastructure consultancy project for Jeddah Municipality in Saudi Arabia, the Oxley Highway to Kempsey section of the Pacific Highway in New South Wales Australia, and an environmental framework for the Office of Government Commerce in the UK.

The statement said the Group remains in a strong financial position with net cash of approximately £15M as of 31 March.
