HS2 announced ground investigation framework partners

HS2 has announced that it has appointed nine contractors to its ground investigation framework to undertake the detailed geological survey for the first stage of the new rail route between London and Birmingham.


The successful contractors are:

  • Bam Ritchies
  • Environmental Scientifics Group
  • Fugro Seacore
  • Soil Engineering Geoservices
  • Structural Soils
  • Allied Exploration and Geotechnics
  • Ian Farmer Associates
  • RPS
  • WYG Environmental Transport Planning

The framework contractors will be invited to bid for the 92 individual work packages, valued at around £50M, through a series of mini-tender competitions that HS2 has said will start this spring.
