Highways Agency goes out to tender for £200M Area 6 maintenance deal

The Highways Agency has invited tenders for its five year Area 6 Asset Support Contract

The term maintenance deal will be worth between £30M and £40M per year and covers the East of England. Roads in the area include parts of the M11, A1, A11, A12, A14, A47 and A120.

Duties include routine and cyclic road and bridges maintenance works, winter maintenance and delivery of road, structures/bridge and technology schemes in the aea in a value range between £4M and £8M.

Possible extra duties include taking on the Highways Agency’s Regional Technology Maintenance Contract (RTMC) for the East in Area 6.
