NCE has teamed up with insurer Marsh to carry out a third annual risk management survey to explore the issues facing the UK construction industry.
It will explore the impact of the global recession, UK public spending cuts and new legislation on the construction industry’s attitude to managing risk.
Last year’s survey revealed that engineering firms had improved their risk management processes and were less concerned about rising litigation compared to 2009.
But fears persisted over risks in overseas markets.
If you are involved in risk management, we would like to get your views on the propsects for 2011.
The survey has 36 questions in six sections.
Almost all questions are multiple choice and the survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Go to www.nce.co.uk/risksurvey to take part.
Your answers will be treated in strictest confidence and will not be attributed to any one company. But your feedback is important and will help us to form a comprehensive view.
The closing date for submitting a response is Friday 11 March. The results will be discussed at a round table event with selected respondents, hosted by Marsh on Thursday 24 March.
A report on the round table will appear in NCE in April.
