HAPPY DAYS

News

Contractor Costain has launched a special calendar for 2005 to raise awareness of opportunities for school leavers in the construction industry.

The calendar is part of the Costain Building Awareness initiative which brings together government, professional institutions, schools, the business supply chain and Costain's own staff to reverse young people's sometimes unfavourable perception of construction as a career. 'We, in the industry, must ensure young people see the breadth of career opportunities construction can offer, ' said chief executive Stuart Doughty. 'Through selected images in this calendar we want to show that this industry can offer exciting careers.'
