Han Padron

HPA's experience ranges from designing container and liquid bulk terminals through coastal structures to urban waterfront rehabilitation. A key client is the US Navy and the company has the East Coast term contract for the Navy's huge bases in Norfolk, Virginia. It is also working with the Hudson River Park Trust in New York to restore over 1,000m of historic jetties and create new park space for the city. HPA is using its own inhouse team of diving engineers to assess the condition of the old timber piles. A big growth area for the future is design of new port facilities on America's west coast to cope with increased ship size and traffic between the US and China.
