Half an hour early for London's congestion charge

News

London's congestion charge is set to end half an hour earlier each weekday at 6pm, Transport for London (TfL) announced last week.

The decision came amid the launch of its detailed consultation on extending the zone to the west of central London. TfL plans to introduce the changes in 2007, but intends to increase the daily charge to £8 in July.
