Halcrow wins ICE sustainability award

Engineering consultancy Halcrow has won an Institute of Civil Engineers Sustainability Award 2006 for their work as a project partner in the Stratford -upon-Avon Park and Ride scheme, working with client Warwickshire County Council.
Halcrow managed the scheme implementation, created the graphic design manual for the buses, signage and marketing material, and produced contract terms and conditions for procuring the bus operation. Halcrow also produced a best practice manual to capture the experience gained in implementing the scheme. The high quality 650 space car park at Bishopton, to the north of the town is now in operation and provides secure parking for people who work in Stratford or are visiting as well as providing a welcome relief to the town's congestion. The terminal building has a wide range of passenger facilities including tourist information for the town and surrounding area.Related links:Today's top stories
