Preparations for the inaugural GE Next Generation Awards are in full swing following announcement of the event at the GE Awards last week.

Guest speaker for the event, which will take the form of an evening drinks reception on 13 November, has been confirmed as Imperial College’s John Burland who has been credited of nurturing the geotechnical interest generations of young engineers.

The awards are now open for entries and candidates have until 5 September to submit their completed application forms - click here to download the entry forms - to GENextGeneration@emap.com

Shortlist candidates will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and understanding to the judging panels through interviews, which will take place in London on 21 and 22 October.
