Spanish joint venture design and build contractor Ferrovial Agroman/ACS is well advanced with construction of the £900M Presa de Rules dam south ofGranada in Spain. When completed in 2002, the gravity structure will stand 125m high and stretch 640m across the Rio Guadelfeo, creating a reservoir to supply water to the booming horticultural regions ofAlmeria and the Costa Tropical.
