Growing Gibb unveils all

Gibb will unveil its expanded regional network at Railtex. A key focus will be the new Manchester office which strengthens the firm's expertise in areas such as rolling stock engineering, power distribution and ticketing.

Another addition is an electrification team. The award of Railtrack's certificate of competency for overhead line allocation and construction design supports the team's plan for continued growth, the company says.

To address skills shortages in the rail sector, Gibb has teamed up with Leeds University. A module option on Leeds' civil engineering courses, taught by top engineers from Gibb Rail, is due to start next year.
