Ground Forum

Ground Forum is the umbrella organisation for ground engineering related industries in the UK. It was set up in 1993 to provide a central forum for communication between members and enhance the profile of the ground engineering industry. It aims to promote best practice, continuous training through CPD, active dialogue between members and the value of geotechnics and engineering geology in building, civil engineering works and mining and quarrying .Members are the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists, British Drilling Association, British Geotechnical Society, British Tunnelling Society, Federation of Piling Specialists, Engineering Group of the Geological Society, GroundBoard and Institution of Mining & Metallurgy.
