Ground Engineering’s conferences shortlisted in conference industry awards

The annual conference programme run by Ground Engineering has been shortlisted in the Best Conference Series category in the Conference Awards 2014.

Judges for the event, which will be held in London on 13 June, said that the volume of submissions and the standard of entries were extremely high.

GE’s nomination came as a result of outstanding delivery of its annual conferences last year, which included Instrumentation and Monitoring; Piling and Foundations; Slope Engineering and Geotechnical Asset Management; and Basements and Underground Structures.

While it will be a few months before GE will know if it has been successful in the awards, the magazine has already started to build on its conference delivery last year and has added a new event to the programme with Ground Investigation and Laboratory Testing planned for 29 April. The new event will be collocated with Piling and Foundations on 30 April.
