Grontmij announces management shake-up

Consulting engineer Grontmij has appointed a new UK managing director, following a management shake up.

Jeff Davitt, currently Grontmij UK chief financial officer, will be appointed interim managing director. Outgoing UK boss John Chubb will be appointed the new managing director of Grontmij Denmark.

The shake-up has been prompted following the resignation of current Danish boss, Søren Larsen, who will leave on 1 March.

Chubb, 49, has been managing director of Grontmij UK since 2010. Davitt, also 49, started his career at Grontmij UK in 2007 as financial controller and commercial manager in the consultant’s water expertise division.

“John Chubb has a strong track record, extensive management experience within Grontmij and the leadership skills to further strengthen Grontmij’s position in Denmark. Working in close cooperation with Jeff Davitt, he has made significant progress in enhancing and developing Grontmij UK in recent years. We wish John Chubb and Jeff Davitt every success in their new positions’, said Michiel Jaski, Grontmij CEO.
