Granting clean water

STUDENT GREG Biffa has been awarded £1,000 from the ICE Southern association to study

the problems involved in providing clean water supplies in parts of South Africa.

The postgraduate student from Sussex University is concerned that 12 million South Africans lack a clean, safe water supply and that 21 million (half the population) are without adequate sanitation.

Biffa will spend his time in Africa participating in community projects.
