Graduate Awards | Finalists announced

New Civil Engineer has announced the shortlist for the 2016 Graduate Awards.

The judging panel has spent the past two weeks reviewing and deliberating over the exceptional entries for this year’s awards.

The 2016 finalists are:

  • Eleanor Davies, Buro Happold
  • Marcin Dawydzik, Ramboll
  • Brittany Harris, Buro Happold
  • Tom James, Laing O’Rourke
  • Gillian Steele, Opus International Consultants
  • Matthew Stott, Atkins

“As always the event recognises the most promising all-round civil engineers and this year we sought graduates within their first two years of post-graduate employment. Meaning they would have graduated in either 2014 or 2015 with a civil engineering or related degree,” said New Civil Engineer editor Mark Hansford.

The six finalists will now prepare for their face-to-face interviews with the judging panel on 4 November.

The awards will take place at the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street, on 25 November where over 200 guests will congregate to hear the Graduate of the Year being announced.
