Government asked to clarify plans for infrastructure body

The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) has written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling, to urge him to include a statement on the future of “Infrastructure UK”, a new body to advise on management and planning for the UK’s critical infrastructure, in the forthcoming Pre-Budget Report on 9 December, if not sooner.
