The British Museum's Queen Elizabeth II Great Court opened to the public this week. Under the scheme the 150 year old hidden inner courtyard has been transformed into Europe's largest covered square. The project was designed by Foster & Partners, structural engineer was Buro Happold and construction manager was Mace.
