Last week's BRIT Awards winner for best British male solo artist Daniel Bedingfield visited the ICE headquarters in November for the New Zealand tourism awards dinner. The Great Hall was given a Lord of the Rings theme as the film was made in New Zealand.

Scenes from the sequel to Bridget Jones' Diary were filmed at the ICE earlier this year. BAFTA award winning actors Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth shot sequence on the main stairs and in the Great Hall, which was transformed into London's Guildhall for the week.

TV dramas Foyles War and Cambridge Spies were filmed at the ICE.

Sir David Frost celebrated the 10th anniversary of his Breakfast with Frost programme at the ICE.

The party was attended by Richard Branson, Rory Bremner, Joanna Lumley, Ronnie Corbett, Esther Rantzen, Michael Winner, Peter Ustinov, Gordon Brown and Jack Straw.

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Smeatonian Society meeting in May and the Princess Royal attended a RedR reception in October last year.

Ten wedding ceremonies took place at One Great George Street.
