GEto host conference on soil reinforcement issues

GROUND ENGINEERING is holding a one-day conference on soil reinforcement and ground stabilisation in March.

'Reinforced soil - challenges and solutions' will look at research; how higher landfill taxes are increasing reuse ofonsite materials and reinforced soil methods, standards and case studies where the methods have solved complex engineering problems.

The programme will interest a wide range ofconstruction professionals, including civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, contractors, clients, central and local government and housebuilders.

The event, to be held on 5 March 2003 at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, is supported by geosynthetic supplier Tensar International. The cost per delegate is £195 + VAT.
