George Duncan dies aged 81

ICE news

ICE fellow and retired Jacobs Babtie senior partner George Duncan died on 20 November aged 81. Duncan spent 46 years working for the consulting firm before retiring in 1987. His career covered dam and hydro electric power projects, construction of maritime infrastructure and upgrading trunk roads. ICE president Gordon Masterton described Duncan as a 'mentor and fine engineer'.
