GE Awards entry deadline is a month away

Although the winners of the GE awards will not be announced for a few months, the deadline for being in with a chance of collecting a trophy at the awards ceremony in London on 14 May is only just over a month away.

With just a month left until the 17 January entry deadline for the 2014 event, GE’s industry-leading judging panel urges entrants not to leave submissions until the last minute and ensure the entry conveys the right message.

Long-serving GE Awards judge Crossrail head of geotechnics Mike Black said that the entries that stood out to him in past judging sessions have been one that have clearly demonstrated the benefits that the geotechnical team delivered for the client. “Sometimes it is not all about the technical details of the geotechnical design but about how the geotechnical team has integrated with other professions to add value on a project or initiative,” he said.
