Galliford Try win £31.5m Scottish road project

Construction and housebuilding firm Galliford Try has been awarded the contract for a £31.5m road improvement scheme in Scotland.

Infrastructure subsidiary Morrison Construction will construct a three-mile section of the A96, a trunk road in the north-east of the country, to bypass the villages Fochabers and Mosstodloch.

The project, which will see the road begin in the west of Mosstodloch, cross the River Spey and reconnect east of Fochabers, is scheduled for finish in early 2012.
