Fugro testing clears the way for above ground work on the Kingdom Tower

Results from Osterberg Cell testing has proved that the piled foundations for the Kingdom Tower meet the required specification giving the green light for above ground work to start.

Fugro undertook lateral load testing with inclinometers and 3D profiling of the pile excavation geometry prior to concrete placement during the construction phase, which was completed by Bauer.

Since the foundations were completed Fugro has undertaken testing of the piles using Osterberg Cells grouted into the piles during construction.
