From cradle to grave

Entec was formed as a single company in 1994, by joining the engineering division of Northumbrian Water with three environmental consultancies acquired from the Simon Group.

This brought together the engineering and environmental skills that enabled Entec to steer the Bran Sands project through all apsects from feasibility to commissioning.

Available engineering skills are civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation, control, automation and construction management. Environmental skills are environmental appraisal, development planning, contaminated land, risk, waste water and environmental management.

Managing director Simon Armes-Reardon said: 'Entec provided the full range of engineering and environmental skills to bring this project to fruition.'
