Found Ocean mixes it up

Development of a new approach to grout mixing by grouting specialist Found Ocean is claimed to improve the efficiency of operations for monopole foundation installation on offshore wind farms.

According to Found Ocean, the new Super Pan Mixer halves the time it takes to carry out ultra-high strength grouting operations by producing larger batches of grout and while simultaneously loading, mixing and pumping the grout. The company claims that it is the first mixer on the market with an output of over 10m3/h.

Two of the new mixers are already being used to deliver efficiency gains on the 108 turbine West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm where the mixer is being used to deliver BASF’s Master Flow 9500 ultra-high strength grout to fix the transition pieces to the monopoles.
