Fellows focus on future strategies

The government’s chief construction advisor Peter Hansford has hosted the first ICE London Fellows’ Breakfast Briefing of the year.

ICE London Fellows

Hansford presented an overview of Construction 2025 - the joint government/industry vision for the UK construction industry - to ICE Fellows from Thames Tideway Tunnel, UK Trade & Investment, Bechtel, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Bam Nuttall, CH2M Hill, John Laing, University College London and the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills.

Former ICE President Hansford highlighted the strategy’s ambition to provide better value, faster completions, greener construction methods and more completed projects in the UK and globally.

He also cited the government’s drive to put people at the heart of the strategy, as well as working with schools to make construction “the industry of choice”.
