Feel the earth tremble. . .

The 25th Samoter earth-moving and building machinery show will feature some of the leading international manufacturers of equipment for geotechnical work. In this special preview, Ground Engineering focuses on just some of the 1,000 firms heading for Verona in February.

Almost 1,000 firms in the construction industry will be exhibiting their latest products and services at Samoter 2002, the 25th staging of the international showcase for the building, site and earth moving industry which takes place in Verona, Italy from 13-17 February.

The three-yearly event will be larger than ever with many displays in the new product areas of information technology, online sales and machine hire.

Alongside the exhibition, a series of seminars have been organised on subjects ranging from major tunnelling and highway projects to environmental issues and evolving technology.

A virtual show will also be run online, with the latest news available now and updates available as the exhibition and seminars get under way.

Samoter 2002 is organised by Veronafiere and sponsored by the European Committee of Site Machinery Manufacturers Associations.
