Fast and furious

It should be obvious to anyone that speed is dangerous.

A stationary car in the high street is not going to kill anyone but one doing 100mph almost certainly will be involved in an accident.

Speed cameras, flashing "slow down" signs and road humps are a total waste of time.
Let's have more mobile speed traps anywhere. No monetary fines, just first offence – off the road for a month, second offence – off the road for three months and third offence – off the road for a year.

That would slow them down. Then we can clear away all this unnecessary street furniture that clutters our roads.
