Ex-WYG chief Haynes joins Network Rail as non-exec

Network Rail has appointed former White Young Green chief executive Lawrie Haynes and former Gatwick airport managing director Janice Kong to its board as nonexecutive directors.

Haynes left White Young Green by mutual agreement a year ago following a year when the company’s share price dropped by 70% and debts soared.

Before joining White Young Green, Haynes was Highways Agency chief executive.
