Entry call for the 21st BCIA anniversary

After the glitz and glamour of the Oscars on Sunday, this week saw the race start for the built environment's very own premier prize – the British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA).

Awards will be made in 14 categories ranging across project sizes and areas of speciality.

Clients, architects, engineers, contractors are invited to put forward their projects whether large or small and from either the public or private sector.

Each entry may be nominated for one or more categories. These include:

- Small Civil Engineering Project
- Civil Engineering Project
- Major Project
- International Project
- Best Practice Award
- Local Authority Award
- Environmental Award
- Regeneration Award
- The BCIA 21st Anniversary Award
- The Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award

The results will be announced at a Gala Awards Dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 8 October 2008.
