Engineering careers guide launches for students

A pocket-sized careers guide for engineering students has been launched this week by careers website Gradcracker.

The guide covers where to look for jobs, what employers look for in graduates and how to put together an attention-grabbing application. This handy reference tool will be distributed free to all university careers advisors and is available to view online.

Gradcracker university liaison manager Angela Lockhart said: “Gradcracker spends a lot of time on campus talking to students and it was apparent that many have become disillusioned after poor experiences while job hunting.

“This pocket-sized guide – ideal for even the shortest attention span – helps students better understand the graduate recruitment market and the needs of employers.”
