Energy minister

Energy minister Malcolm Wicks has called for 'full and frank' discussions with his European counterparts on the 'serious malfunctions' in the European energy market identified by the European Commission. He said lack of reform in other European countries is keeping energy prices artificially high, and that he would press for a single European energy market when he chaired the EU energy council next week.
