Letters

I'm sure the problems described by Leigh Jones letter (Letters last week) apply to many graduates, not just civil engineering, and are an inevitable consequence of the Government's education policy and the dumbing down of GCSE's and A-levels.

Anyone who thinks A-level science examination papers have not become easier to pass is living on another planet.

It would be interesting to have more comment from civil engineering employers on the general level of education of employees generally.
