Educating people a key role in reducing congestion

Educating people to make more use of public transport will play a key role in reducing congestion, Welsh Transport Strategy Group member Stuart Watkins said earlier this month at the ICE Wales National Transport Conference. He said it would help reduce the use of private cars which has been on the increase for short journeys in Cardiff. Watkins called for school children to be taught the benefits of public transport over private cars for the journey to school.
