EC Harris acquires project management consultancy

EC Harris has acquired construction consultancy Christal Management to boost its offering in Scotland and the North West.

Christal, which has offices in Manchester and Paisley, employs 32 project management staff.

EC Harris said the addition of Christal would boost its capacity to meet growing client demand in those regions, particularly in the retail, stadium and urban regeneration sectors.

Christal’s existing clients include British Land, Manchester University, Manchester City Football Club and Liverpool John Moores University.

EC Harris UK chief executive Alan Brookes said: “As the UK economy continues to gain in strength, and we see increased political ambition to ensure further regional growth outside of London, it is critical that we build capability to both target new clients and support existing national clients across the north of England and Scotland.”
