East of Scotland Water Authority

East of Scotland Water Authority chief executive Roderick Rennet (F) was awarded a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for services to water supplies.

Keith Taylor, former chairman of Esso and an honorary fellow of the ICE, also received a CBE for services to the oil and gas industry. Major Tyrone Urch (M) was awarded an MBE. Last week we reported that Sibdas Chakrabarti, Dugald Gonsal and Phillip Shimmin all received MBEs. In fact they were made OBEs. Our apologies.
