Driven mad

Excessive speed, bad hazard perception and not concentrating can all kill.

However, trying to keep within a speed limit while dodging pot holes, looking out for children behind illegally parked cars and avoiding the untaxed, uninsured 'white van' stuck to your rear bumper is not always that easy.

I am all for speed cameras to be clearly visible and set to allow motorists a 10% speed tolerance. That way most people will respect their speed.

Otherwise the cameras just raise revenue.
