RedR was hit by a donation double whammy this week, picking up over £3,000 at the launch of the ICE's new and improved corporate training tome 'Management development in the construction industry:

Guidelines for the construction professional'. RedR has benefited from the generosity of the book's co-editor Gavin Maxwell-Hart, who was delighted to hand his £1,000 fee over to the charity. The charity also received a cheque from the British Geotechnical Association, which collected over £2,000 in a raffle at the 41st Rankine Lecture (NCE last week). 'Management development in the construction industry' was first published in 1992 addressing industry shortcomings and now forms the backbone of many organisations' training schemes. The latest edition identifies twelve key roles in management development and provides a diagnostic tool for self-assessment and comparison, allowing individuals to determine for themselves their development needs.
